Lithium Battery Maintenance Guidelines

Charging Guidelines

Do not wait until the battery is completely drained before recharging; charge when approximately 20% power remains. Excessive discharging can damage battery cells and shorten the battery's lifespan.

Charge in a well-ventilated area and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures. Unplug the charger promptly once charging is complete; do not leave the battery on trickle charge for extended periods.

Always use the original, compatible charger. Mixing chargers from different brands or with different specifications can cause overheating, damage, or even safety hazards.

Usage Precautions

If the battery becomes noticeably hot during operation, stop using it immediately and allow it to cool down before resuming work. Do not continue heavy-load operations in high-temperature environments.

Keep battery terminals and metal contacts clean and dry. Promptly remove any dust, metal filings, or moisture to prevent short circuits.

Avoid dropping, impacting, or crushing the battery. Do not use the battery if the casing is damaged.

Long-Term Storage

When not in use for an extended period, store the battery with a charge level of 40%–60%; do not store it fully charged or completely drained.

Store in a cool, dry place, ideally at a temperature of 10–25°C. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and damp or rainy environments.

For long-term storage, check the charge level every 2–3 months. If the level is too low, recharge it to approximately 50% to prevent the cells from over-discharging and locking up.

Prohibitions

❌ Do not disassemble or puncture the battery pack.

❌ Do not throw into fire or expose to high heat.

❌ Do not short-circuit the positive and negative terminals.

❌ Do not store or charge in damp environments.
